About me

I was born in Graz, Austria, and studied "Industrial Engineering" at the University of Applied Science in Kapfenberg. After an internship at Phillips Semiconductors in Gratkorn, I started working as an Application Engineer at AVL List GmbH in Graz in 2006. After gaining 3 years of experience in the field of engine testbed automation for HD, I joined the PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement System) department, specifically the M.O.V.E team. There, I started as an Application Engineer responsible for the entire AVL PEMS system. Over time, I transitioned to the role of Business Development Manager and eventually became the Product Manager for the AVL Concerto M.O.V.E Data Toolbox (MDT).

In 2022, I left AVL to focus more on my family and to establish my own company, "data & lor.E," in the following year. "Data" refers to the PEMS data to be processed, and "lor.E" is first an abbreviation of my name, Lorinser Ernst, and secondly, it indicates to "Elevate" knowledge from the data being processed.
